How can I request that the Library purchase something for the collection?

Answer

Faculty and staff may submit requests for the library to purchase eBooks, films, databases, journal and newspaper subscriptions, and other resources needed to support the university's curriculum.

Non-subscription items that cost less than $500 may be purchased immediately if the budget allows. Subscription requests are added to a "wish list" and evaluated annually.

To make a library purchase request, submit a Library Resource Request Form.

Library staff will review all requests during the annual budget review process and notify the requestor as to the outcome.

For more information, see the Library Services for Faculty page.
